On May 19, 2017 I visited this cemetery southeast of Bangor in Blount County, Alabama. I located the graves of four Confederate soldiers in this cemetery. They are recorded at my Graves of Confederate Soldiers blog. I have never seen this style of marker anywhere.
There is no inscription other than "Hope" in the pots. I have searched the Find a Grave information about who is buried here, but there is no memorials for these graves. I have made visits to other cemeteries in the area, but I did not see these markers again.
My grandparents and other family members are buried in that cemetery… never saw those, but I’ll make a point to find them next time I’m up there.
